Walmart CEO Doug McMillon

Walmart CEO Doug McMillon shared how he’s leading change and evolving the business of a 52 year-old company: “When making decisions, move with speed but use collective wisdom.” During an interview at Stanford Graduate School of Business, McMillon also discussed the impact of globalization and culture on today’s business strategy.

Lee Scott and Mike Duke were both VP of Logistics at Walmart before taking the CEO position.  Supply Chain is very important at Walmart.  It is important for retail CEO’s to understand Supply Chain.  Walmart CEO Doug McMillon has plenty of Supply Chain experience as well.  He worked at Walmart while in high school.
